We recommend ordering an additional +10% square meterage to cover any possible tile breakages during delivery and/or installation.
We will not exchange, replace or refund any broken, chipped or damaged tiles up to 10% of the full order total.
This additional percentage% can give you the peace of mind that even with offcuts and breakages, you’ll still be able to complete your project on the day. Further to this, each batch of tiles/paving is unique, so if you did require additional tiles due to offcuts and breakages, there is no guarantee these tiles will be the exact same as the previous batch – some differences may occur.
In simple terms, when tiling there will be many cuts that need to be made to fit the tiles neatly into a space, each cut means the other part of the tile becomes waste. Allowing 10% extra will ensure there will be enough tiles, without a ridiculous amount being left over.
